CHEMICAL WEAPONS

THIS POST IS ONLY 204 WORDS, BUT IT’S CONTENT MAY DISTURB SOME READERS. IT IS NOT INTENDED TO DIMINISH THE ATROCITIES TO THOSE WHOSE LIVES HAVE BEEN DEVASTATED FOREVER BY RECENT EVENTS IN SYRIA. INSTEAD, IT IS INTENDED TO ACCENTUATE ATROCITIES WE FACE EVERYDAY, YET CHOOSE TO REMAIN RETICENT.  IF YOU CHOOSE TO READ THIS POST, PLEASE KEEP THIS INTENTION IN MIND.

Men help a wounded boy who survived what activists say was an airstrike by forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the Duma neighbourhood of Damascus

As the world is exposed to the appalling effects of harmful chemicals assembled in bombs that destroy the lives of men, women, children and infants, we raise our brows and UNITE in the DECISION to prevent repeat occurrences. To use these chemicals in such a manor is defined as GENOCIDE.

Publication3cropped500As the world is exposed to the appalling effects of harmful CHEMICALS in our FOOD, CLEANING PRODUCTS, MEDICINES and ENVIRONMENT we “UNITE” in our DECISION to PURCHASE AND WILLINGLY CONSUME these chemicals further polluting our environment and destroying the lives of men, women, children and infants. To use these chemicals in such a manor is defined as NORMAL.

Does the speed at which we die from CHEMICALS and their TOXIC EFFECTS justify our ambivalence to one, yet not the other?

It’s amazing how difficult it can be sometimes to distinguish between the two.

  1. It is a poignant fact to distinguish between the effects of chemicals on human life and the aftermath whether a quick death or long term slow suffering.  True, the first example was not by choice and the second example  we choose with total  ignorance . Sadly we come to accept both as a fact of life.  It is very hard for me to read and comment on this since I lived the horror of a war growing up,  and now  facing and learning to live with a disease . With the grace of God I survived both and I will continue to strive to learn and better myself and hopefully inspire and encourage as many people as the Lord  will allow me to.

    1. As I mentioned to calmkate, AWARENESS is a necessary first step. We’ve come to accept these forms of death, because we haven’t seriously considered alternative approaches to LIFE. Following a herd mentality typically creates more of the same outcome.

We need the WILL to think independently in order to use the tools and resources available to make better personal decisions about our own individual lives.

We need the WORLD to support the principals of human decency and stand together (UNITED) to combat these catastrophic actions on defenseless people.

  2. Yes ingesting toxicity causes long term suffering and slow death just like tobacco, alcohol, lack of exercise, eating poorly but they are our own choices for a slow suicide … those that have chemicals, bombs and bullets sprayed on them … that is inhumane! But no reason to kill even more …

    1. Is often seems we’re living in a time and a world that no longer values the sanctity of HUMAN LIFE. We find great joy in doing self harm and dread the effort in living a lifestyle that supports quality health. AWARENESS becomes a necessary first step to alter this path we’re blindly following.

      1. yes awareness but most have to wait for that first heart attack or stroke before they really get motivated. Why do we have NO self-worth at all?

        1. SELF WORTH and VALUE needs to be created by the individual. It is NOT something we feel or experience without cause (to a large degree.) We are not taught the importance of seeking and achieving self worth. Instead, we learn over time when it’s “missing” and often find ourselves withdrawing from life. This is a major reason why people turn to all sorts of destructive activities and habits. For a brief moment it makes them feel good about something.

  3. Hi Jonathan thought you might be interested in this article clearly stating that 800 Australians a year die from overdoses of prescription medications … sad statistics that prove what I’ve been spruiking

    1. It’s unfortunate that prescription drug abuse is becoming part of the norm in society. We claim its wrong, yet treat it as if it’s just another part of unacceptable living. If we don’t find the number of deaths from prescription drug abuse appalling, we probably don’t care that over 100,000 deaths occur each year (in addition to those who abuse prescription medications) by people taking PROPERLY PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS AS DIRECTED!

          2. Wow, that is a shocker! I knew Pharmas were big drug pushers but to see that published by a reputable lot … openly stating they smudge the research/figures. Was on meds for the breast cancer briefly but the side effects of Femara are killers. I knew they were doing more damage than good and oncologist had NO idea of the effects … but people treat meds as their saviours?

            1. You would be surprised at the number of cancer patients turning away from traditional cancer treatments recognizing the harm they cause often exceeds the benefits they offer. Oncologists are not used to their patients voicing their dissatisfaction. Many patients are taking a larger more ACTIVE role in their own care.

For chronic diseases, however, I completely agree with you. Many people continue to believe their “meds” are the ANSWER to their condition.
