ENOUGH ALREADY! VACCINES ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH AUTISM; OR IS IT?

As President George Bush (Sr.) once stated, “read my lips, no new taxes.” There was never a doubt or a waiver in his voice. He was adamant, authoritative and unyielding in his delivery. One could walk away from this speech assured that only delusional Bush opponents would propagandize the possibility that new taxes would be part of our future under his command.

In present times we have been told over and over again that:

AUTISM HAS BEEN PROVEN UNAFFILIATED WITH VACCINATIONS! 

The leaders in the medical field have assured us adamantly, authoritatively and with unyielding delivery there is NO AFFILIATION; END OF STORY! You would have to be part of a group of conspiracy advocates to be foolish enough to argue against the elite echelon that have reviewed all the studies and have reached this unanimous conclusion.

I am not part of this elite echelon. I do not have as many advanced degrees after my name and have never been asked to present research before our greatest scientific minds. I am a common sense kind of doctor that likes to read details in reports and findings. So, I was perplexed while viewing the FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION’s website which posted a 13 page report entitled,

“Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Adsorbed Tripedia.”

Don’t worry about the title. We can leave it to those physicians with the advanced degrees. I am providing the link to the FDA’s website mainly to prove this paper actually exists. It was written by the manufacturers of the vaccine. (It’s technical and boring, and only provides a benefit to those suffering from insomnia.)

You see, on page 11 of this 13 page document, the following paragraph was found. The language is technical so it won’t offer the average person much value EXCEPT for the 19TH WORD (bolded, underlined and placed in red for your convenience!)

Adverse events reported during post-approval use of Tripedia vaccine include idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, SIDS, anaphylactic reaction, cellulitis, autism, convulsion/grand mal convulsion, encephalopathy, hypotonia, neuropathy, somnolence and apnea. Events were included in this list because of the seriousness or frequency of reporting. Because these events are reported voluntarily from a population of uncertain size, it is not always possible to reliably estimate their frequencies or to establish a causal relationship to components of Tripedia vaccine.

I was confused. It appeared to me that the word AUTISM was listed in the second line of this paragraph as an “adverse event reported” after this manufacturers vaccine was approved (POST APPROVAL USE OF TRIPEDIA VACCINE.) You might think that the other adverse events reported might have caught my attention as I list four of them for your light reading.

1. encephalopathy (a disease in which the functioning of the brain is affected by some agent or condition (such as viral infection or toxins in the blood)

2. grand mal convulsion (brain seizure activity that can create permanent neurological damage)

3. SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome)

4. anaphylactic reactions (an acute allergic reaction to an antigen (e.g., a bee sting) to which the body has become hypersensitive and can lead to death)

No, I couldn’t get my eyes to move from the word, AUTISM and needed to know what “anti vax” group infiltrated the FDA’s website. You see I was assured by the leaders in the health care world possessing multiple advanced degrees after their name in a manner that was adamant, authoritative with unyielding delivery that:

AUTISM HAD BEEN PROVEN UNAFFILIATED WITH VACCINATIONS! 

As a simple common sense doctor that likes to read details in reports and findings, I have to admit I have been unsuccessful acquiring any wrong doing in this FDA website publication. It appears the word AUTISM was intentionally listed in this report because (as the same paragraph above also states:)

“Events were included in this list because of the seriousness or frequency of reporting.”

I needed some alone time to be with my thoughts. My mind was racing. Was it possible our leaders:

1. got it wrong?

2. made a mistake?

3. covered up the truth?

4. told a lie?

I spent untold seconds (maybe even minutes) pondering in isolation. A decision was reached. My common sense nature concluded the leading physicians with multiple advanced degrees must have attended the same university as our past President George Bush (Sr.). It seems this university and its professors provided an adamant, authoritative and unyielding education, however, appear to have disregarded REALITY, and possibly, THE TRUTH!

I hope this story AND UNBIASED EVIDENCE (through humor) sheds new light on this important subject. For those who are uncertain why vaccinations pose controversy, this research paper clearly reveals “serious and or frequent adverse events” of concern.  Don’t be surprised if the FDA takes this publication off their website. At least you will have had a chance to see THE TRUTHFUL FACTS!
